Six hotels hold three Keys, 22 hold two Keys and 43 hold one Key; 15 hotels are new entrants and five moved up a tier
The MICHELIN Guide announced its MICHELIN Key awards for 2026 on September 18, with Thailand placing 71 hotels and resorts out of 2,832 worldwide across 79 countries.
Three Keys (6 properties) — the country's top tier — go to Capella Bangkok, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, The Siam, Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, Phulay Bay (A Ritz-Carlton Reserve) in Krabi, and Amanpuri in Phuket, with Capella Bangkok the only property promoted up to this tier this year.
Two Keys (22 properties) — good news for Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, which entered the list straight at this tier on its first appearance, while Dusit Thani Bangkok, 137 Pillars House, Iniala Beach House, and Trisara were all promoted up from one key.
One Key (43 properties) — includes 14 newcomers, such as Andaz One Bangkok, Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, Chiva-Som Hua Hin Resort, Cape Fahn Hotel, and Maison Mystique, a boutique hotel in the hills of Khao Yai with a white building and classic European-inspired design.
Anyone planning a trip later this year can find the full list at guide.michelin.com or in The MICHELIN Guide Worldwide app.
