Wise, the global fintech company, officially launched the Wise Account and Wise Card in Thailand on September 23, 2026, supporting 40 currencies across 160 countries, targeting Thais traveling abroad, foreigners in Thailand, and digital nomads.
The Wise Card charges the Mid-Market Exchange Rate with no markup, showing fees before every transaction, can be added to Google Pay for contactless payment, and scans Thai PromptPay QR codes as well as other ASEAN QR systems like DuitNow, QRPh, and PayNow.
It includes a Bill Split feature and a Travel Hub for travel planning. Wise received all 5 required licenses from the Bank of Thailand as of this past March.
