200MP Leica cameras on both main and telephoto lenses, a 2nm chip, and a rear display that supports AI-built apps

Xiaomi is set to launch the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max in China on September 23, 2026, with the highlight being a hardware-level privacy display that blocks people from seeing the screen from the side.

Batteries are huge: the Pro gets 7,000mAh, while the Pro Max gets 8,500mAh. The triple rear camera, co-branded with Leica, uses a 200MP main sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens.

The M11 display reaches up to 4,000 nits brightness with bezels just 0.99mm thin. The chip is a 2nm unit expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, running HyperOS 4, available in 3 colors: black, Galaxy Blue, and white.
