A compact full-frame mirrorless camera that adds a joystick, 7.5-stop in-body stabilization, new film-simulation color tones, and 4K 60p video

Canon Thailand launched the EOS R8 Mark II, a 24.2-megapixel full-frame mirrorless camera building on the EOS R8, weighing around 546 grams but featuring a built-in 5-axis IBIS stabilization system.

It shoots up to 40 frames per second continuously with the electronic shutter, adding a Register People Priority mode that tracks a pre-registered person in a crowd. It's the first full-frame EOS R-series camera in its class with a joystick multi-controller.

Creative features include new NegativeFilmtone and PositiveFilmtone film color tones, 4K 60p video from 6K oversampling, Canon Log 3 support, and multi-camera live streaming.
