Nothing was founded in London in 2020 by Carl Pei, former co-founder of OnePlus, using transparency design as its core brand language.
It started with the Ear (1) earphones in 2021, exposing their internal structure, carrying through to the Ear (3a), which adds personalized sound tuning and voice recording.
