HONOR announced Xiao Zhan, the Chinese actor and singer, as Global Ambassador for its flagship smartphones, welcoming the upcoming HONOR Magic9 Series launch, with the campaign message "A decade of wonder, leading into a new chapter about to begin," under the hashtag #HONORMagic9ProMax.
Xiao Zhan previously served as ambassador for the mid-range HONOR N series, so this move to global flagship ambassador marks an elevated role with the brand.
HONOR confirmed the Magic9 Series launches in China on September 28, with the Magic9, Magic9 Pro, and Magic9 Pro Max. The main selling point is the camera system co-developed with ARRI, the global film camera maker, with the Magic9 Pro Max featuring dual 200MP rear cameras on both the main and telephoto lenses, and a new large square camera module with 3 lens openings.
