ANC improved 50% over AirPods 4, Spatial Audio carried over from Pro 3, Live Translation on every model, priced at $129/$149 (Thai pricing not yet announced)
Apple launched AirPods 5, the first open-ear AirPods with active noise cancellation (ANC), which the company says performs 50% better than AirPods 4, carrying over Spatial Audio technology from AirPods Pro 3 and enabling Live Translation across every AirPods model.
Two options are available: a standard case ($129) and a wireless-charging case ($149), with Thai pricing not yet announced. Battery life is rated at 5 hours of continuous ANC and 22 hours total with the case, supporting USB-C and wireless charging. The new context-aware, hands-free Siri (including whisper commands and nod/shake-head gestures) requires an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone and is English-only at launch.
